Weekly Realizations

 On Perspective/Sanity:
- The world can look much, much different, 12-24 hours from now
- Nothing clears the head like a long walk with a Godly friend
- When you're truly losing your mind, take a hot shower, cry - then sleep ASAP
- Hormones are real, no matter how many vitamins you take
- Writing down your life-complaints often shrinks them to a more realistic size
- God left us the Bible for a reason; namely, we can't manage without it.

On Food:
- Granola is excellent
- Lamb is only available around here when it's not on my weekly meal plan
- Local coops (that deliver organic produce to my door!) are a gift from God
- Grass-fed meat/eggs taste nothing like their unorganic competitors

On Money:
- Turns out, generic brands actually work quite well, thank you
- Solid financial principles wonderfully clear, and unchanging
- Why yes, I will choose my bank by the competence/courtesy of their employees
- Life is expensive.

On Fashion:
- Vanity is a vicious cycle
- Charlotte Russe is actually a pretty good indicator of upcoming styles
- Online clearance sections are pretty good indicators of outgoing styles
- Investing in decent shampoo is a smart move
- Coconut oil is a great moisturizer
- Toenail polish helps.  Alot.  Likewise, basecoat/topcoat help toenail polish.  Alot.
- Good morale IS good style
