The best quote of our trip came in Dyersville, Iowa, the tiny town noted only for "Field of Dreams" filming there in 1989.

When told we were moving cross-country to Ohio, a friendly, local lady sympathized: "Aw, too bad you have to drive 'cross Indiana next! All they've got o'er there is 'ours of cornfields!"
